Online training course - Control of Major Accident Hazards (COMAH) Regulations 2015
This 'COMAH' training course explains the requirements of the COMAH regulations 2015, which cover major accident hazards.
The COMAH Regulations apply mostly to the chemical industry, but are also applied to some storage activities (explosives and nuclear sites) and other industries where threshold quantities of dangerous substances, as identified in the Regulations, are kept or used.

Describes the background to COMAH and outlines the main duties imposed by the Regulations. - Some Definitions
Provides the definition of some important terms used in the Regulations. - General Duties
Covers the general duty on operators, the requirement on operators to notify the competent authority and describes the MAPP. - Safety Reports
Explains the key requirements of a safety report. - Emergency Plans
Deals with the requirements of both internal and external emergency plans. - Provision of Information
Describes the information which must be provided to the public, and for the Public Information Zone (PIZ). - The Competent Authority
Explains the primary functions of the competent authority. - Action Following a Major Accident
What the operator and the competent authority must do following a major accident. - Self Test
There are 35 questions covering each of the previous modules. A certificate is offered if the test is passed.

This 'COMAH' course takes approximately 2 hours to complete. You are purchasing one copy of this course, with one attempt at the test at the end.
